Dolphin Bay is proud to be doing business with The New Forests Company, a United Kingdom-based company with a head office in Johannesburg for its African operations.
The company has invested substantially in Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania, where treatment plants have been installed, as well as in Mozambique. The New Forests Company has now contracted Dolphin Bay as its exclusive supplier of CCA to Uganda, and the first consignment was recently delivered.
“The New Forests Company has invested substantially in plantations and infrastructure, and is putting back into the communities where they work,” says Bertus. “We believe they are an ethical, fast-growing company and we are proud to be associated with them. Together we have developed a win-win business model.”
“We are going through an enormous growth phase, and Dolphin Bay has been extremely accommodating,” says Quentin Scorgie, Chief Financial Officer for The New Forests Company.
“It has been great to negotiate directly with the owner of Dolphin Bay. We are very happy with Dolphin Bay’s service, which has been superb, and is in some large part due to dealing with Bertus directly.
"This has helped us find answers to our questions, and sort out problems immediately. We hope to increase our purchases from Dolphin Bay in a strategic partnership in the coming months, as we continue on our growth path.
"I am confident we will continue to work well together.”
